1930's Androgynous Mexican motif Mirror Fashion Gender Neutral Mid Century Art Cactus Southwest Desert $40.00

1930's Mexican Motif Mirror that at first glance appears to have the classic imagery Mexican Man in Sombrero leaning against the wall. But a closer look shows the unmistakable curves of a female figure with a beveled stance with bloused sleeves and pant cuffs. She is wearing stripes and pants much like Coco Chanel did in the 1920's. An androgynous fashion statement from the 30's. Either way, it's very cool and would make a lovely addition to any home.

The mirror is in excellent condition with virtually no wear to the paint. a single nail loop still intact.

The label on the back says "Kellner's Ben Franklin Store". Kellner's was based in New London, Wisconsin and became affiliated with the Ben Franklin Chain in 1927 and closed it's doors in 1970.
